In the words of the great Morpheus…“What you know you can’t explain, but you feel it. You’ve felt it your entire life, that there’s something wrong with the world.”

Maybe you’ve felt the pressures of society, family, schools, work… to conform and to fit in. To live and operate in ways that simply don’t feel “right.”

Maybe you’ve felt that your desires aren’t valid. Like the success you’ve achieved was somehow wrong or illegitimate. Like your desires are too much, unreasonable, and not allowed.

This painting is an example of this feeling… it just flowed out of me, simply, smoothly, intuitively, easily. There’s a voice that says things shouldn’t be that easy.
